The rhythms that emanated from the Kanyange king's palace, just a stone's throw from his childhood home, formed the backdrop of his early years and this immersive musical environment left an indelible mark on him. In 1995, as a member of his school's cultural troupe, he toured the Netherlands and Germany, harmoniously sharing the melodies of Uganda with schoolchildren in Europe.
In 1999, a pivotal encounter with UNICEF Ambassador to Uganda, Michel Sidibe, catalyzed his involvement in the GEM (Girl Education Movement) initiative, championing the cause of free education for marginalized girls. Empowered by UNICEF, Chinobay became a beacon of education, employing his music as a potent tool to engage, inform, and uplift countless lives in remote areas, underscoring the criticality of women's education.
